Transpersonal-Integrative Psychotherapy
- In harmony with body and soul
Transpersonal therapy is the foundation of my approach. It is a holistic form of psychotherapy that integrates traditional therapeutic methods with an exploration of your inner, emotional, and psychological experiences. This approach recognises that personal growth involves not only addressing past difficulties but also discovering deeper meaning, purpose, and connection in life.
Drawing on a range of methods — including humanistic, psychodynamic, mindful, and experiential practices — transpersonal therapy supports self-awareness, healing, and transformation. It may also include practices such as breathwork, meditation, dreamwork, and creative imagination to deepen insight and connection with your inner world.
At its heart, transpersonal therapy views each person as more than their symptoms or struggles, helping you connect with your inner potential and cultivate a stronger sense of wholeness.

What an integrative approach can offer
I support you in managing stressful situations, strengthening your inner resources, and restoring emotional well-being. Below is an overview of some of the modalities I draw on within my integrative approach. Together, we’ll find the path that best supports your personal growth and individual needs.
Integrative Psychotherapy
Integrative therapy combines techniques from different therapeutic approaches to fit your unique needs, rather than following a single method. It draws on evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, and mindfulness-based approaches to address emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges.
The goal is to create a flexible and personalised way of working that supports your growth, self-understanding, and overall well-being.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) is a structured approach that helps people process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess memories, reducing their emotional impact.
Over time, EMDR can ease symptoms such as anxiety, flashbacks, or negative beliefs, helping you feel calmer, more balanced, and in control of your life.
Psychodynamic Approach
The psychodynamic approach focuses on understanding how past experiences, unconscious thoughts, and early relationships influence your current emotions and behaviours. By exploring these deeper patterns, you can gain insight into the roots of your difficulties and how they affect your present life.
Through this self-awareness, the psychodynamic approach helps you recognise repeating themes, resolve inner conflicts, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Humanistic / Person-Centred Approach
Humanistic, person-centred therapy is based on the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for growth, self-understanding, and positive change. It provides a warm, non-judgemental space where you are accepted and understood as you are.
The therapist offers empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard, helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely. This supportive environment encourages greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and the confidence to make meaningful choices in your life.
Relational Approach
Relational therapy focuses on the importance of relationships — both with others and with yourself — as a key part of emotional well-being. It explores how early experiences shape the way you connect, communicate, and relate in the present.
Through a supportive and authentic therapeutic relationship, you can gain insight into repeating patterns, develop healthier ways of relating, and build deeper, more fulfilling connections in your life.
Holistic Approach
A holistic approach focuses on the connection between mind and body to support healing and well-being.
A Somatic approach helps you become aware of physical sensations and how the body holds stress or emotion, using gentle techniques to release tension and restore balance.
Mindfulness involves bringing focused awareness to the present moment with curiosity and acceptance. Together, these approaches help calm the nervous system, increase self-awareness, and foster a greater sense of grounding and emotional resilience.
